Omsberg is a co-captain for the team this year after serving as an assistant captain in 2016. He has been helping lead his team during games and through practices.
Community
Outside of soccer the Scarborough, Maine, native gives his time to different organizations. Omsberg is a co-leader for the Big Green Readers program, through which student-athletes help elementary students with their readings skills. He also contributes time to the Thetford Mentors program and was a leader at this past summer’s Big Green Clinics soccer camps.
Competition
Named the 2016 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, Omsberg was also honored as an NSCAA Third Team All-American for the 2016 season. He led the Dartmouth defense to hold opponents to only 12 goals in the regular season. Omsberg was named to the 2017 College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer Preseason All-America lists.
