Griffin Announced as 2010 Women’s Basketball Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award Winner

Nebraska forward Kelsey Griffin has been selected as the 2010 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award winner for women’s basketball. Griffin, the Big 12’s player of the year and first-team all-American, led the Huskers to a 32-2 season and was a member of the conference’s Good Works team in addition to being the women’s basketball representative on the university’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Da’Sean Butler left his home in New Jersey to become a West Virginia Mountaineer. Kelsey Griffin journeyed far from Alaska when she decided to attend Nebraska. They both found perfect locations to excel as basketball players and to continue their educations, but they really found much more than that.
